Full Service Design Process

The first step to getting to the space you love is to tell us about your project. We welcome inspiration pictures you admire and photos of your room so that we can start to visualize a space tailored to your specific taste and how you want the space to function. We are just getting an overall scope of what you want to accomplish. 

The consultation is an appointment either virtually or in your home. We come on site and review the space. Please don't clean up for us! We want to see how you really live. We want to see what storage solutions and functionality issues we can address. Design is not only about a pretty space, but one that works well for you and your family. 

At this point, we will collect preliminary time line and budget. We will provide you our initial ideas either on site or shortly after depending on the scope of the project with our thoughts on the space. 

There are many design questions and projects that can be solved with just a consultation. 

Once our preliminary ideas are accepted, we will move on to the design phase. 

If you like our initial ideas then we will study your room and custom design a space with you and your family in mind. This phase includes: sketches, floor plans, furniture suggestions, lighting, textiles, finishes, built ins, textured walls, wall treatments, windows coverings, flooring, and some example photos.

At this phase, you should be able to be able to visualize the project and see the potential of your home and how the space will come together. 

if our design is agreed upon and accepted, we will then move on to the Purchasing Phase. 

Depending on the budget, we offer multiple ways of helping our clients reach their goal. At this point we will be doing the shopping if you have elected full service or you will be doing the shopping if you have determined you would like to manage the project. We will continue to be in communication with you as you go through the process to guide you through the plan.  

We will help you navigate contractors and procurement. Once all the items have been procured and building, painting, remodeling has been done, we will set the Installation Date.  

This is the day we have all been waiting for!  This is where the process gets really exciting! It's time to place the art, furnishings, lamps, rugs and finishing touches.
